A Lifetime wish is the sim most wanted desire that he would like to accomplish during his life. Every Sim gets to choose a lifetime wish, usually when he becomes from a teen to young adult (and in some cases earlier). There are 33 different lifetime wishes in the Sims 3 and more revealed in each and every expansion pack .The lifetime wish is chosen out of 5 different options allowed to the player, which are suggested according to the sim selected traits.

*With the Late night expansion pack you will be able to choose every lifetime wish you want regardless of the selected traits for the Sim, Though the 5 suggested wishes will still be there.

Changing the lifetime wish

Changing a lifetime wish after it was chosen is possible using the “change lifetime wish” reward which costs 10,000 lifetime happiness points. Using this lifetime reward you will be able to change the selected lifetime wish, but only to one of the 5 originally suggested wishes according to the Sim traits. (Again, having the “late Night” expansion pack will unlock all lifetime wishes regardless of the sim traits.)

Fulfilling the Lifetime wish

Completing the lifetime wish is the sim major ambition during his life, and after fulfilling it the Sim will gain a large amount of lifetime happiness points (changing from one wish to another). With the gained lifetime points the sim will be able to purchase different lifetime rewards. After fulfilling the Sim lifetime wish he will not be able to have a new one or “change” it using the “change lifetime wish” reward. Gaining the lifetime wish is the Sim biggest ambition in his life!

Sims 3 Ambition expansion pack bonus: All lifetime wishes will grant 15% more lifetime happiness points, rounded by 500. For example accomplishing the “Chess Legend” lifetime wish will grant 34,500 lifetime points instead of the regular 30,000 it is worth.
