Sims 3 Cheats

With The Sims 3 Cheats you will be able to get money quickly , manipulate the Game-play and other things which otherwise wasn’t possible at all.

Although cheats are usually considered a “fraud”, Using them in the right way in the game can be very helpful and even produce lots of fun! You could always use this cheats just for fun without saving the game, and by that maintain the clean and cheat-less game play.

Using the Sims 3 Cheats

Open the console window by pressing [ctrl] + [shift] + C, then enter the desired cheat and press [enter] to activate the cheat.
Note: In Windows Vista the console window will be opened by pressing [ctrl] + [shift] + [windows] + C

modify traits Set or change the active Sim traits
unlockoutfits [on/off]  1 Unlock all career outfits and service uniforms
moveobjects [on or off] Move objects without game limitations
constrainFloorElevation [true/false] Force terrain adjustments without limitations (e.g. objects)
resetSim [first name] [last name] Reset Sim to safe and neutral state at thier home
disableSnappingToSlotsOnAlt [on/off] When on, objects will not snap to slots while holding [alt]
fadeObjects [on/off] Objects will fade when the camera gets close to them
hideHeadlineEffects [on/off] Hide talk/thought balloons above Sim head
jokeplease Prints a random joke to the console :)
slowMotionViz [0-8]  2 Slow motion, 0 – normal, 8 – slowest
fps [on/off] Toggle the frame rate display at top right ()
fullscreen [on/off] Apply or cancel full screen mode
enablellamas [on/off] Simply displays a “Llamas enable” message (That’s it..)
quit Exit the game

Note: The “[x/y]” is a part of the cheat Code.  E.g. “disablesnappingtoslotsonalt on”  will activate the cheat, and will make objects move regardless of the floor slots while holding the [alt] key.
1 Cheats must be activated before entering to create-a-sim mode
2 Cheat does not affect the speed of time in game.

Additional Sims 3 Cheats

Note: Using these cheats will be possible only after enabling testing cheats mode by using the “testingcheatsenabled true” cheat.

ageuptonpc Toggle option for aging up toddler to become a NPC1 Sim
familyfunds [last name] [number] Set the household funds (replacing the current funds total)
speed [0 to 4] Set the game speed (0 – paused, 4 – Ultra speed)
maptags [on/off] Toggle map tags on/off. (noticeable in map view)
playsounds [on/off]
 Toggle all sounds and music on/off
recordvideo [small/medium/large]
[low/moderate/high/max]		 Start recording video with specified size and quality

 

When  ”testingcheatsenabled true” cheat in enabled, some new options are revealed by [shift] + clicking on objects:

The mailbox:

  •  Make All Happy – Make all fulfilled to maximum.
  • Make Friends For Me – Get to know some new friend (at acquaintance level).
  • Make Me Know Everyone – Get to know everyone on town (at acquaintance level).
  • Make Needs Static – Make all needs to become static and never to empty out.
  • Force Visitor – People will start visiting your house.
  • Numerous ”Force NPC” options – Call a NPC to come (E.g. police, Grim Reaper).
  • Numerous ”Set Career” options – Choose yourself any career you want.

Work place:

  • Force Opportunity – The working Sin will get an oppourtunitty at work.
  • Force Event – Force an event at work (E.g. someone will bring some free donuts).
  • Force All Events – Force all existing events at once.

The Ground:

  • Build/Buy on this lot (requires v1.7)
  • Teleport me here – Teleport Sim to this location.
Household Sim:
  • Trigger age transition – Have a birthday for the Sim, and get older (E.g. baby to toddler)
  • Modify Traits for Active Sim – Change the Sim traits (Available only for the active Sim)
Non-Household Sim:
  • Add to Household – Make the Sim a part of the household/family.
Any object:
  • Object … Delete It” (requires v1.7)
Further more, when  ”testingcheatsenabled true” cheat in enabled, The needs bars (e.g. energy) could be raised and lowered by dragging the mouse left and right.
The relations bars will be movable as well.
Delete moodlets in the Moodlets panel by [ctrl] + clicking on them.
